Why Submit a Plan A Visit Form?
Good question! When you complete this form, our team will make a special note that you are planning to be there, and have someone ready to meet you when you arrive! Please know that it takes some time for us to coordinate those details, so if you're completing this form within a few hours of the visit, and don't receive a personal reply before you arrive, please still show up and just look for one of our Guest Services team members located near the Connection Center at the middle of the campus! We'll help make sure you get to the right place!
Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Grace a great one!
Grace Community Church has two services on Sunday mornings, 8:30am and 11:00am. Both services have live preaching and worship. The message is the same at both services, but the music varies slightly, with the 8:30am being more traditional and lower volume, while the 11:00am will have more contemporary songs and louder volume.
Between our services, at the 9:45am hour, we have classes for adults, Grace Kids programming, as well as our Students program.
LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
Grace Community Church is located in Tempe, Arizona on Southern Avenue, between McClintock Dr. and Rural Rd. Our address is 1200 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282. For a map and directions, click here.
What can I expect?
How long is a service at grace?
In total, a Grace service is about 80 minutes in length. Services begin with our band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will share a practical, encouraging and Bible-based message. After that, we usually end the service with one more song.
What's the culture like at grace?
Grace is a community of all generations, so no matter what stage of life you're in, you'll be able to connect with people in the same stage as you. You will fit right in! We encourage you to simply come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should look forward to coming to church - and Grace Kids makes this a priority! We have an electronic check-in process for our Grace Kids program that ensures your kids are safe while on our campus. On your first visit, you’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed up for the Grace Kids program. Future visits will only take a minute or two to complete check-in. Grace Kids offers environments for kids ages infant through Grade 4 during both services, as well as during the class hour.
Junior High and High School students will feel right at home in our Student Ministry which meets at 9:45am on Sunday mornings. Kar-dia is the place to go if you're a College Student/Young Adult, which also meets at the 9:45am hour!
